Webinar: CraftWine.Org hosts virtual interview with Export-Import Bank of the United States
On June 3, 2020, CraftWine.Org hosted a virtual interview with Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) to share tools and advice to small wineries interested in exporting their products. EXIM is a U.S. government agency that supports American jobs by facilitating the export of U.S. goods and services. To do this, they provide businesses with protection from the risks of exporting, allowing them to export fearlessly. Watch the hour-long video below:
Speakers included: Carole Lawson CEO/Founder CraftWine.Org Carole is a graduate of the International Culinary Center Intensive Wine Studies program, completed her master’s work in Marketing Management with and emphasis in data and analytics at Harvard, in addition to holding several other degrees and professional certifications, she is a Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers and the founder and CEO of the CraftWine.Org. She is a sought-after speaker in the areas of travel and tourism, technology innovation, emerging markets and the wine industry. Elizabeth Thomas Business Development Specialist EXIM Elizabeth Thomas is a Business Development Specialist at the Export-Import of the United States (EXIM). Throughout her career, she has worked in the U.S., Europe and Asia as an experienced international business executive. Prior to joining EXIM Bank, Ms. Thomas held a number of sales, marketing and health-policy leadership positions working with Hewlett-Packard Company, InTouch Health and other high tech companies in the areas of wearable smart fabrics, robotic telemedicine and medication lifecycle tracking for hospitals. Ms. Thomas is a graduate of James Madison University and the Emory University Goizueta Business School.
