Iris Vineyards Opens Wine Bar in Downtown Springfield, OR

By Published On: June 2, 2022

If you are near Springfield, Oregon, there is a new wine bar that just opened to the public starting June 2, 2022. Offering their award-winning wines and wine-based cocktails, the Iris Vineyards Wine Bar is located on Mainstreet in the town’s historic center.

Locally owned by Pamela Frye, the vineyard started producing wine in 2001 from their 36-acre vineyard to produce its Areté sparkling wines, including their 2019 Brut Blanc de Blancs and 2019 Brut Blanc de Noirs.  Annually, they produce 15,000 cases of various wines, distributed across 25 states.

Recent awards include the 2020 Pinot Gris receiving Best of Show in the McMinnville Wine & Food Classic, a first for any Pinot Gris in the competition’s 29-year history.
