The Foothill Wine Festival team is pleased to announce the results of the 2023 competition sponsored by Choose Folsom. The competition was held in Folsom on September 9th and 10th.

The Foothill Wine Festival was designed to showcase and promote wines from all Sierra Foothill appellations. The goal of the competition and November 11th public vent is to increase visibility for consumers and trade alike. The best outcome is foot traffic to the region’s wineries.

The panel of esteemed judges assessed just under 400 entries this year. They awarded five Best of Show, along with 29 Best of Region wines – the top competitors in each wine category that earned a Gold or higher. The judges also awarded 36 Double Golds, 103 Gold, 168 Silver, and 54 Bronze medals. These are record numbers – all the credit goes to these winning wineries.
